So you know how yesterday I was like “OMG I have one month to get ready for the mud run” Well today I came across something that must have been a sign. I just started to follow Bobbi’s Blog and today she posted about the Summer Shred!
Here are some of the details:
Every day she will send you a brand new workout that you can do at home, workout will be 20 minutes long. It is 20 workouts in 30 days… So that is 5 workouts a week!
She also sends you a 30 day meal plan. (You can find more on her blog link above)
Now the reason I decided to do this is because I realized yesterday I have to start running BUT the MuckRuckus run just isn’t about running it is also strength. When thinking how am I ever going to get the motivation to do this (since Eric is always busy with softball I figure hes not going to be in the mood to train with me) I needed something to push me along! So I decided if I come up with a running schedule and do this 20 minute workout 5 days a week for one month I should be fine… right? Well lets hope! The workout actually begins on Monday so it will go a couple days past my run but I think this is going to help!
I’m also excited for the meal plan. I love learning about new and healthy foods… I’m sure I will change some things up a bit since I am a little bit of a picky eater but it is good to try new things!
